PDF’s Is A Great Little Tool
All most all computers have a PDF (Portable Document Format) reading software on their computer. The majority of computer users us the Adobe Reader. After all it was Adobe that really made the use of the PDF document format so popular. Since its’ creation in the early 90’s. Today, thanks to the open source movement, there are several other PDF readers available for free download from the internet.
What makes the PDF so popular? What has made it the standard for emailing any type of important document? Well, it is how hard to change the document once it has been created. More important is that critical documents can be protected with various security measures. Watermarking, and password protection are two of the security measure that can be added to a PDF document.
A simple Google search for free pdf creators gives you a large listing of programs that allows you to use the printer function in Microsoft Word to create a PDF document.
Cute PDF reader/writer is my favorite. I have used it for years. The pro versions will cost you $50. The paid version allows to create document that other people can fill in the blanks. It also has a digital signing feature.
A while back Life Hacker.com had a good post on the top 10 tips and tricks for those who use the PDF format on a regular basis. In this post they cover everything from making a basic PDF document to merging two or more PDF documents.
