CompUSA – What can we learn?
All week there has been a lot of articles and talk about CompUSA closing. One of the top national brands in computer/electronic chain stores is going to be just history.
What can we learn from this?
Service is the most important thing to a customers. I have had bad service a the Boise ID store. Originally, I thought it was just me. It turns out to be an issue in every store.
People don’t want to walk into a store and a strange piece of electronics. They want a warm body with friendly smile to answer their question. They want someone to be their when they are having problems.
The customers are going to benefit from the closing of CompUSA. They will be forced to go back to the local computer store. They will be force to rediscover that service is more important than price when it comes to their computers.
